I no longer want to learn

World is too depressing, i hardly understand what happens anyway. I really don't, My life is so depressing and painful I'd rather live in a fantasy world; it makes me mentally unwell. trying to learn confuses me, and gives me headache and makes me more tired and stressed. I've been suffering from we...

U.S. government project Close, but not quite. This is how it actually works. Say there is a large land crab loose in a residential area. Every few days a small child wanders close enough to be caught in its pincers and is seriously injured. Sitting next to the dangerous crab are two large and sturd...

Re: If natlangs were conlangs

https://i.imgur.com/V0b8tWs.png That's too strange to be a conlang. Conlangers typically don't abuse overlong vowels, or for that matter overlong diphthongs, that much. now now your just willfully Discarding conlangs made by your local Turkish baker; nuxalk has features that some people would accus...

Re: Luhansk vs Lugansk

You are forgetting that the locals pronounce "/g/" as [ɦ] or [ɣ] (I forget which - I know Ukrainian has [ɦ] for PSl /g/ but I have heard conflicting things about southern Russian varieties, as to whether they have [ɦ] or [ɣ]); the local Russian is not standard Russian. if we go by that it...

LUCA was way earlier, about 3,800 to 4,000 Mya.
Ah so then we are really closely related to those reptiles.

But what language is most klingon?
Then we splice the language with klingon hol and we make paramount pay for this language…… a sufficient amount for our entire bloodline to never have to work again! == Qapla!

With Chernobyl, people keep saying that it's a great series but ruined by "unrealistic" lack of Russian accents. Because of course Ukrainian workers would spend their days speaking American English with a strong, Cold-War-spy-film-style Russian accent... Yeah, the use of foreign-accented ...
