Is anyone here a Diversitarian as defined in Look to the West ? Nachtswalbe, please pay more attention to what thread you're posting in. This makes no sense in a Covid thread; nor does talking about Switzerland in the British Politics thread. Random thoughts can go in the Random Thread. Understood

Re: Random Thread

A political system I prefer is turnismo except for social classes. For example, during the Year of the Scientist, Scientists act as politicians, the Year of the Ecologist, Ecologists rule. This eventually becomes a norm so you get peaceful transfers of power without elections

Well on www.alternatehistory.com a timeline-maker got banned for supporting Zionism against the very anti-Zionist admin and all threads he made, even those majority-other people were locked out of spite.

Re: Capitalism: the cause of and solution to all life's problems

Who cares if developed countries are below replacement rates? It's not like we have a shortage of human beings these days, is it? Not that I'm really in favor or against urbanization. The problem is with certain forms of sprawl. If people want to go live on a mountain or something, excellent. Probl...

2. Phonology Using the principle of one-sound-one-letter meant using phonetic letters, some of which like <ɛ> had their current value in the early IPA since 1888. Based off of Portuguese and Haitian Creole (and similar to Spanish and French minus front rounded vowels), a seven vowel system was used:...

The problem with Degrowth is that it’s implementation is vague and can go from simply cutting down on heavy industry and advertisements to the sort of thing Pentti Linkola prefers Reminds me of this post complaining the British left is “not English” enough, referencing a 50-year old film about a cou...

My new favorite case to cite is Oliver Sacks, who didn't meet the love of his life till he was 77. OK, that maybe isn't that inspirational. I mean, better late than never, and he really was happy with his partner for his last years. But he was also a huge nerd who just didn't know how to find a nic...

Unfortunately, Nortaneous is correct here. Ivermectin is a horse dewormer and a human dewormer. It is, however, not an effective antiviral, since the dose required for that simultaneously makes it an effective anti-human as well. (I say ‘unfortunately’ here because ‘don’t take horse dewormer!’ woul...

Has anyone heard of Chris chan? Heard the name, all I know about her is that she's some sort of Internet "celebrity" who is, from what I read now, accused of some sort of sex crime that I haven't bothered to look into. tldr: she became infamous for a poorly drawn comic series. trolls (dif...
