I've been to Rome (twice), Vicenza, Naples (half dozen times, or so), and Sicily (3 times).

Naples is where I was last week. Was there twice last year. It's dirty, crime-ridden, and very few of the people were even halfway concerned with politeness or niceties. You and obviously have had different experiences, which is fine. Perhaps I'm too obviously an American, and that disrupts their normally sunny demeanor.

Typically a final /e/ or /a/ will be written with hei. Also, you using yud for /i/ inconsistently - it is omitted in ארם but not in ביקסבוא. IMO, if there is supposed an inconsistency omitting it in the prefix seems more intuitive for me as a Hebrew speaker.

While I was hiking, I ran into some loggers working with pines.

the FINAL morpheme is a modifier that changes the accusative ending from /p/ to /f/ when it appears in the last word in a clause. this was intended to be a longer story but its been a long time since Ive worked with Poswa and Im out of practice.


Lately I write in Poswa first and then translate, which is why I have words like /twofas/ "(while they were) working with pine trees" that have no direct english translation.

This is distinguished from "I have a favorite, too!" by adding a transitivity marker, even though the transitivity marker does not explicitly specify the object. And there is no way to simply say "Mine too" ... there must be a noun for there to be a possession marker.

I saw a new house by the trailhead. But I think it's a coincidence.

There are no transitive verbs in the Poswa sentences here .... "I saw X" is simply an evidential, and while "I think" can also be, it's also possible to write it with a separate intransitive verb.
