Recent Rebellion in Verduria

There's a couple of references to a rebellion by the Duke of Šerian, or a Barons' Rebellion (which seem to refer to the same event) a few years before the present. Was this originally backstory for something in the D&D campaign?

No, though that little detail is pretty old.

I may be forgetting something, but our major campaigns were
-- low-level dungeoneering in Erruk (there's references to this campaign here)
-- a wilderness expedition to Perecaln
-- a long expedition to K'aitan where one of the adventurers had a noble inheritance
