By saying this, do you mean that we’re guessing correctly (i.e. so it is Muskogean, but not Chickasaw), or that we’re in the correct geographical area (i.e. it isn’t Muskogean, but is from the south-east of the US)?

Honestly, I can't go too much into specifics without giving away the answer (which may have just given away the answer).

It is, in fact. The passage is taken from Drechsel's book with only minor modifications. So the individual lexical items are Muskogean but the language itself is usually not classified as such.

This should be extremely easy to locate at least.

West Africa, non-Bantu, spoken in Nigeria? also, is ẹ̀kákálẹ̀k a a typo? its the only final consonant in the text. i think i might even know this one, but i dont have a good sample text to post if Im right so i'll sit it out.
