This a poem in typical 3 line style for a dialect of Nu Lir (literally pure language) with matching rhymes on either odd or even syllables (in this case in the “Continuation” style since the third line continues the pattern of the first line rather then the second through the opposing “Break” style wasn’t even around when it was composed). The acutes represent high tone in contrasting pitch accent made in the most strict interpretation of the poem which preserves rhythms across lines but singers could also not stress *mi since it’s a clitic and could move stress from the *ta (which is the unstressed syllable of a word) to *vu which is a content word to give it a more eccentric feel. Later styles of this same kind of poem would allow for unstressed (so clitic) syllables at the end of lines on occasion while earlier styles would demand the poem conform to rhythm in word choice too.
