Impressive so far, both esthetically, and linguistically, IMHO!

Thank you both very much.

Kala has reached a point where all updates are incremental and sporadic. I don't have any current plans for any major updates and have begun to dedicate more time to Amal, but the support and interest expressed in this thread has meant a great deal to me, so thank you.

I've added some numeral variations, this section will be expanded and included in the next updated Omyatloko document toward the end of April.

hamya - medical procedure
itsi / aitsi - chide; reprehend; admonish
kuale - relevant; related to an event or subject
kualemue - be irrelevant; to be superfluous
momoliko - country bumpkin; hick; yokel; rube
sa'u - odds and ends; bits and bobs; junk
yanao - one by one; one after another; in turn
tseha - workbench; counter; stall

A recent review of some translation exercises reveled some fairly gaping holes in the Kala lexicon.

I get you. The fluency thread today gave me reason to decide on the Tautisca word for "head" after dithering for years on what root to base it.

The Kala grammar document has been updated.

Updates include:
1) dozens of new vocabulary
2) new script document links
3) grammatical changes

Future updates will likely include additional script descriptions, loads new vocabulary, and expanded useful phrases...potentially inclusion of a conworld description.

I like the very mechanical character of this calligraphic style...
with all those dots, it looks like card perforations...

The Omyatloko Glyph Dictionary has been updated. It’s linked in the Document Library.

Updates include the pronominal constructions, among other small changes.

kudos on all your current accomplishments, with Kala, with Sangheili(sp), and your fairy language. great work!

as an aside, your Kala Omyatloko is the only calculiform script I can ever think of, aside from Maya itself; you're a great inspiration.
{"pebble-shaped"...Coe mentioned it, and said that it was coined by one of the early attempters to decipher written Mayan}

it's funny, I thought of omya calligraphy more like inca walls
(and maya writing more like jaguar spots...),
but there is a link with maya, especially its numbers,
is there a real pre-colombian inspiration...
