Penutian? (Or, at least, commonly included in the group called ‘Penutian’?)

EDIT: actually, no… could it be Biloxi?

Is it (plausibly given acceptance of the hypothesis) Hokan?

OK… not Penutian, Hokan, or Biloxi.

Is it at least spoken along the west coast of the US?

I’m getting a funny feeling this language is not from the US at all. To its south?

Looks kinda Southeastern to me but I'm just passing through.

Pleasantly surprised to see this thread has a pulse again, just wanted to say! :)

Is it - by any definition - spoken in the Northwestern part of North America?

I was thinking Muskogean but can’t find an orthography that matches so I’m just going to guess Apalachee

There is nothing remotely Muskogean about that sample. Even if it's a custom orthography, I can't think of any way that would map onto any Muskogean language.

But since we know it's southeastern, my guess would be Yuchi, with an x for the glottal stop for some reason.

I was thinking Atakapa but felt like if so then the orthography was something new I hadn't seen before (not having read anything about the area published in the last twenty years), so really was never going to figure it out.
