A continuation of lexember but more heavily focused on the particular culture of the speaker with newly coined words or phrases not even required since you can just expand upon previous previously coined ones. Unlike lexember this accepts a variety of things from words, to idioms to specific rituals or things. Also this is not based on weeks but rather sections of the month. There is no time for voting so I will include the appropriate examples from the previous Lexember which didn’t get picked as well as some of my own coinage.
Days 1-6
Buildings and Building Materials
Days 7-12
Sports, Competitions, Physical Exercise
Day 13-18
Bags, Boxes, Purses, Pouches, Containers
Day 19-24
Clan Life, Subdivisions, Moieties, Lineage and Descent
Day 25-31
Apprenticeship, Training, Teaching, Mentors
Cultural Traditions January (CTJ if you really want)
Re: Cultural Traditions January (CTJ if you really want)
Where are these example from? We didn't do anything along these lines for Lexember – we used Xxx's Lexember Advent Calendar. Additionally, Lexember takes up a lot of effort and brain space, so maybe arrange this for a month that isn't right after, to give people a chance to recover.
Edit: to be really clear, the first one is out of interest, and the second is explaining why I'm not participating, and suggesting a way to acquire more participants (including possibly me). Yes that second one is slightly selfish, but I think I'm not the only one.
