Stuff has been staying in since about 4 this morning, and my headache has diminished within the last few hours.

Re: Happy things thread!
I spent today's afternoon and evening doing a fairly long and complicated family tech support thing, and everything worked out fine, and all the computers involved are working well now! There weren't even any frustrations along the way!

I think the thing where it’d pause for a split-second if you switched from another app with it being in the background to YouTube while a video was playing has finally been fixed.

On Friday, I learnt something interesting: At work (so I must of necessity be vague, apologies), they’re trying to redo one of the processes, and they’re using my work as a basis for it.

Re: Happy things thread!
zeptoforth 1.10.0 may be coming soon! I have now merged in the new and improved USB CDC console driver (which now functions correctly on the RP2350), and there are a number of fixes and improvements to zeptoIP and the CYW43439 driver (e.g. it no longer dies if you send it a 1500 byte ICMP ping packet, and it makes much more efficient use of buffer space by packing frames together in its circular buffers). I am now just waiting for someone to confirm whether my revisions to their donated LCD1602 driver work properly (as I don't have an LCD1602 on hand to test with myself).

Re: Happy things thread!
It shall be a good day for a birthday, though this year I’m stuck as an in-patient in hospital just to get things done more quickly.
Re: Happy things thread!
Happy birthday, my best wishes, and I hope you get well soon, both of you.

After much delay, zeptoforth 1.10.0 is out. It has significant improvements and bugfixes to the USB CDC console on the RP2040 and RP2350, zeptoIP and the CYW43439 driver (it makes much more efficient use of buffer space, and it no longer dies if you send it a 1500 byte ICMP ping request), rebooting on the RP2040 (which would previously sometimes lock up if code was executing on the second core), and the line editor (particularly but not solely on the RP2040).

Re: Happy things thread!
Now zeptoforth 1.10.1 is out. This release fixes notable bugs in pin::input-pin and pin::output-pin with high GPIO's on the RP2350B, adds words for atomically setting and updating mailboxes upon taking from task notifications, and adds words for controlling font colors/effects on ANSI terminals.
Edit: it turned out there was an outstanding bug with rebooting/the watchdog on the RP2040, which necessitated putting out zeptoforth 1.10.1.1.
