Also, Rounin is a descriptor, Ryuuji is actually the name.

A prerequisite IMO to switching to a new word or phrase is beating to death the one before it (e.g. reducing a large polysyllabic word to a single vowel), whereas the originals here are still pretty recognizable from their current forms.

I rather like what we're working with now, too.
