Because -u is a suffix attached to the clitic, not the other way around.

I was here all the time, but I haven't got anything to talk about. I'm still translating "The Hobbit" chapter 4, but it turned out to be a dreadful one, and it [the chapter] takes a lot more time than I had expected.

Slow but meticulous.
I had to do a bit of a restart on the grammar, but nothing too dramatic, just finessing the syntax section(s). However, I have made good progress on lexical issues and I have made huge strides in my revision and update to the Omyatloko writing system. I don't have any timeline for these things, but I'm hoping to get the grammar up before 2021.
