Yes, I had it about five hours ago.

Absolutely mysterious... this happened for me last night. But before I could contact Bluehost, it seems to be cleared up, just as mysteriously.0

These hosting services are so big, but they can't even fix their databases.

The poor site still struggles as I occasionally randomly get internal service errors, even while posting.

Hey, zompist—says there’s 102 users online (and I’m getting site issues). Do you think this might be someone DDoSing you?

I’ve seen it at that level many times before, and it doesn’t seem to be obviously correlated with the problems. So I doubt it.

As I write this, the forum claims that there are more than six million views for my Could this work as a collaborative project?-thread in Ephemera. That thread is less than a month old, and has 30 replies. What on Earth is going on there?

Wow, that's extremely weird. That makes me think the bots are going wild... earlier I tried to restrict bots, maybe there's a better way to do that.
(See page 4. I restricted guest logins, which only worked for awhile, and had the disadvantage that humans couldn't read anything if they weren't already members.)

A few minutes ago, I tried to load the board twice and was greeted with a blank white screen. (If it’s relevant, I’m on mobile.) I saw the progress bar and was originally on another page when first I tried to reach it. The issue went away shortly thereafter.

Odd… I haven’t experienced this. I still have admin access, so I can do some investigation if anyone else reports these problems.

Now, zompist.com seems to have trouble. I keep getting a "The connection was reset"-message.
EDIT: seems to work again.

I was having trouble earlier too, and now I can get it.
But FTP access isn't working. Very frustrating as I have pages to upload. I called the host and talked to an actual person, but the actual humans who can help left for the day.

I’ve been having issues with DreamHost too—I can’t FTP into my LCS hosting.

Well, zompist.com is on Astound. It's fixed now, whew.
(I use Dreamhost for incatena.org and almeopedia.com... Bluehost for this site... it all made sense at the time.)

Hey, that has the advantage that it's unlikely that all of those will have trouble at the same time.

Not that I can recall, but I’ll keep a lookout for it.

Is the board being sluggish to load for anyone else?

A bit, yes. Though not consistently, and sometimes other things are slow too, so who knows…
