Did Moses Merrill paste letters to a dartboard and throw a dart at them whenever he needed a letter for a phoneme?

I see you conveniently elided the bit about ‘Sesur Dkustus’, which might have given us a bit of a hint.

I can find it by Googling ‘nlheraskonewere’, too. (Googling is forbidden anyway.)

The Meeker orthographies were optimized for standard printing and avoidance of digraphs and (because the point was to develop literacy in Ioway/etc.
without necessarily literacy in English) not at all optimized for crosslinguistic consistency.

It is a north Luzon language, but neither Kankanaey or Ibanag.

The Philippines never got as much love as they deserved, in runs of this game that I can remember -- good to see this now
