This is the horribly mangled (due to bad encoding) Mbay bible translation. Doubt any of these special characters are actually in the printed version.

I was wondering what linguists from Iceland created that.

Auye then. (But it really looks like Ekari, just with <s>.)
There are actually dialects of Mee (as the speakers call it) with /s/ (usually derived from /t/ before [i], IIRC).
Not surprised, it's a common sound change in the general area. Anyway I've compiled all the Auye equivalents I could find of the Proto-Paniai Lakes forms in Tebay (2018) and my hunch was correct: it shares all sound changes with Ekari (I'd use the endonym but I have a suspicion that it's also the Auye endonym), differing only in minutia such as sporadic voicing in velars (such as in
animaga- "to sit" or
maga "soil" and high vowel lowering (as can be seen in the Bible translation:
Ogatamee "God"). Maybe sometime I'll compile the Auye equivalents of the whole wordlist in Larson & Larson (1972) to see how close exactly it is to Ekari (or, better, if I find an Ekari dictionary online, compare some more words with Auye), but not today, my laziness got the best of me.
