😕

I guess this just isnt my thing. I found Tarahumara and went right past it because it didnt have an /ˀn/, .... is that a cluster and it just happens that there were no instances of other /ʔ/ + consonant in the sample text?

Oh well. I had fun, even so.

Well given the absence of orthographic <l> this appears to rule out Northern and Western, so Eastern perhaps?

Anyhow, next language.

I thought you were supposed to wait until it was confirmed that you solved it correctly?

Are you entirely sure this isn’t a conlang? (I’m sure it’s not, but it looks so strange that I feel like I have to ask.)

I must say the punctuation is odd. Or is this just Frislander's view on applying European punctuation rules to non-Latin script languages? So, is it normally written in an Indic script?

The punctuation seems fine to me, actually. I assume the ellipses are just a transcription of pauses during speech. (I saw a grammar of Dongwang Tibetan which used the same convention, so it doesn’t seem too unusual.)

Absolutely sure.

Also ngl you could level something like that at Albanian, since that also shares a particular aesthetic that we mostly associate with conlangs.

Well, we have a whole thread dedicated to natlangs which look like conlangs! So yes, I am familiar with the concept of such natlangs. But I couldn’t resist asking, since your text just looked so strange.

I expect sentences to start with capital letters.

It's a Tonda language, either Komnzo or Nen (since these are the only Tonda languages I know that don't write the schwa) - and since it has too many vowels for it to be Nen I'll just guess Komnzo.

Wow guess I should read up on more Tonda languages to pick ones that aren't so distinctive, well done Komnzo it is!
