Fo ray. Yu tok se "gut tingk-op won nof fis-op", an nes masako tok se "yu woh-dem in sof (wo yu tok a se-ol)", an nes mi tok se "skin a klami pwaya juti a don", wo ste Sajiwa seying.
Indeed. You said "a good creation requires a lot of reworking", and then masako said "your words are not tender (what you say is profound)", an then I said "the skin is moist before the work is done", which is a Sajiwan proverb.

It doesn't work.
(Specifically I can't get my machine to recognize AltGr without AltGr being treated as a regular Alt key by something else, which causes a load of problems in practice, and when it doesn't treat AltGr as Alt it either ignores it or it doesn't handle dead keys right, e.g. it inserts a '-' without actually applying a diacritic to the following letter.)

Mi swel in bek non, oba mi dota bek mi fi im bek kek :D.
I also didn't bake anything, but my daughter asked me to bake a cake [i.e. she wanted to bake one].
bek means both "to bake" and "to ask" (from "beg"; there's also as but obviously I had to use bek here :)). It's a patientive ambitransitive, so needs a direct object to avoid the reading that the subject is baking or being baked. Sajiwan allows subjects in "to" clauses (what is their official linguistic name?), so can distinguish between fi bek kek ("to bake a cake", most likely understood to be done by the subject of the main clause) and fi im bek kek ("to bake a cake by him/her").
