And yeah, feels too cold. It's easy, doing this stuff, to concentrate on present-day Earth; remember we've had ice ages and also superhot epochs. And the Hadley cell boundary isn't set in stone.
Good point; that map reminds me a bit of how I picture an ice age. For some reason the lower resolution was warmer.
Note also that, this being an
exoplanet model, you can (and usually need to) adjust the overall atmospheric composition to get the right amount of greenhouse effect. In this case perhaps you need more carbon dioxide. Furthermore, these kinds of models usually need a certain amount of time to stabilise from their starting point.
(This should all be explained somewhere on worldbuildingpasta, too.)

The low-resolution model was better in some ways but failed to predict the desert on the eastern continent (and I'm really convinced there should be desert there).
The lowest resolution model is known to be 5-10°C too cold, I think. It's definitely worth adding CO
2 or solar energy to get to what you want. If you're up for it, the worldbuildingpasta blog post should have a script to automagically adjust one of these until it reaches an ideal temperature, but it tends to take
forever to run, so beware.
