Auldgrecisc had thes, ennae at war ʒens ei komtilsammen til lot.
Ancient Greek had this, but it was only a partial merger.
Mang seʒinger wi the perfekttemps, at pen englisc kan ware saut wi the presentperfekttemps, went aorist; at is, the grecisc perfektif.
Many phrases with the perfect tense, that in English can be said using the present perfect tense, became aorist - that is, the Greek perfective.
Ennae war at mang at went present. Thesser oft henwises til ei statifaspekt.
However there were many that became present. These often refer to a stative aspect.
