Ye, Sajiwa u yah a donsay-kayn a Amazona collaria (A. collaria sajiuae), ina Ingles kol "yellow-billed amazon", oba de Sajiwa jos "parat".
Yes, Sajiwa is home to a subspecies of Amazona collaria (A. collaria sajiuae), in English called "yellow-billed amazon", but on Sajiwa just "parrot".

Mi ful taym finis tahn Obit Ya cata 7 ina Sajiwan. Im u long cata pas ol op nu, an tek mi wan yeh an sewn mons, kway som long taym pas mi go won. Im me fayn don de ya. Cata 8 af sem sem longnis, oba mi ste mi a go tahn im likl fas pas cata 7.
I finally translated The Hobbit chapter 7 into Sajiwan. It's the longest chapter so far, and took me a year and seven months, quite a bit longer than I would've wanted. It can be found here. Chapter 8 has a similar length, but I hope I'll translate it a little faster than chapter 7.

it doesn't, that's just the way that /y/ is written orthographically as it is an allophone of former /Vɥ ... ˈV/ and due to <y> already being in use.
