I watched the movie Project Hail Mary.

The scenes that showed the process of learning to communicate with each other were simplistic and unrealistic, but aside from that, I loved it.

Zyei yu nai bahe dzungge.
Because I have to work.
Zyei kapitalizimi.
Because of capitalism.

Because of capitalism.
Byoi bya do, u byoi ndyolya Pirodyekiti Heli Meri do, i bwobwo nga.
For a change of topic, in the book Project Hail Mary, there's something strange to me.
Ngongei zi bimu zyu dei mango.
The narrator has amnesia.
Dei vwe ya dyambe lizwi do byo zyii yu ha dei mwendi lizwi zyi.
He sees a ladder and thinks about whether he's physically able to climb it.
Dei ngemi zyui dyambe lizwi u lwo dandoi go wendi dulwo.
In his mind, he describes it as being about ten feet in length.
Do dei negu zyu dei zi ngemi dyi ye 'dulwo'.
And he realises that he thought the word 'feet'.
Dozye dei li zami zyu dei mwemwe ngo Sepo.
So he realises that he might be US-American.
Ha wei ndwa ngemi va zyi u ngimi zywe?
Are there really people who mentally say everything they think?
U nai vwe dyambe lizwi u lwo dandoi go wege mita do byoi mbo de wi nyori do, a dyi ye mita agwe dyi gyowei ze mi zyoni nga.
If I see a ladder which is about three metres long and think about it, neither the word metre nor any number would pass through my mind.
Nai ngulo nozyo gyowe wi nwagi ngi u ngii yu nai bahe nge zyu nai vwe ma u gyui bya.
The only time I try to quantify things is when I have to describe something to someone else.
U doro do, dei ngemi do gyumi zyu ndo ye li u lu Losendyelizi u bi u lu Nyuyoki-i ma u ndei lo limu zyu ha dei ngemi u zwe dyi ye kilamita agweqe mayo do ze negu zyu ze Sepoi gwo zanggwa nebyo gwa bumba Sepo u nezyo nwavwe.
Then, he asks himself how far apart Los Angeles and New York are to see whether he thinks in 'kilometres' or 'miles', but it doesn't occur to him that non-US-Americans would never think of two US-American cities when coming up with an example.
Bu Sepoi ze byonwa u ngoi ze Sepo.
The US is not the default to non-US-Americans.
