I find it interesting that the Bardi text has [c] as its sole voiceless consonant.

I wanted to give you guys something in Old Chinese again but it's hard to find transcribed texts.
I wanted to post Lord's Prayer in Pre Proto Germanic but you may not agree. My suggestion is Japanese or Old Japanese.

- Initial and terminal voiceless stops devoice; retroflex consonants merge with laminals;
- Schwa is deleted after short open syllables, with preceding syllables lengthening;
- Contraction of sequences, [aʊ ɒw] > [oː], [ɒːw uəː awə] > [oːu], [ɪjɪ] > [iː];
- [c] assibilates to [s], [j ɟ] merge to [ʒ];

I don’t mind, really, as long as we give IE a rest for a few rounds.
I should note that the IPA has conveniently published a large set of transcribed texts, if you can get access:

An Australian language with fricatives? Interesting direction.
(By the way, I should note that the pauses should
not be reflected in the orthography. The text has an intonation pattern widespread amongst Australian languages, wherein there are extremely long pauses between every few words — sometimes within words, even.)

Well, okay then:
- Stressed becomes penultimate in words of three syllables or more, and in other words heavy syllables drag stress; short vowels in stressed open syllables lengthen;
- Final -jV becomes -ij(V);
- *bh *dh *gh > /w ð ɣ/; initial [ð ɣ] devoice to [θ x]; preconsonantal [w] > [u];
- [ai ei oi ou] > [aː iː yː uː]
- This fancy new technology called "writing" shows up, and your people add squigglies to the vowels to show when they're long, unlike the people who invented it and didn't think of this necessary feature;

1. vowels in unstressed syllables reduce to schwa, word-initial i u > jə wə
2. voiced stops fricativize (but /d/ becomes a tap) in the codas of unstressed syllables
3. schwa + resonant sequences gain an epenthetic schwa after them, if followed by another consonant
4. voiced stops fricativize even in the onsets of unstressed syllables

- Glottal stop is lost, lengthening thepreceding vowel; [əʔ] > [aː]
- Sequences collapse: [uw aw ɔw əwə aej ej əjə əɣə] > [uː aː oː oː eːi eː eː eː]
- Prevocallic [e] > [j];
- Loss of schwas farthest from the stressed syllables, with the following shifts occurring when consonants make contact:
- Intervocalic voiced stops lenite to fricatives;
- Where [jl] meet, metathesis to [lj] > [ʎ]; [jn] > [nj] > [ɲ]; [sj] >
- [sʤ sj] > [ʃʃ ʃj] > [ʃj ʃj]
- [ŋn kn] > [gŋ]
- [wl] > [wɫ]
- [nm] > [dm]
- Voiceless consonants assimilate to subsequent voiced consonants
- [ɔː] merges with [oː]
- [ə a] > [ɐ]
- Stress always falls on the final syllable of a word (a pattern already overwhelmingly common);
