I haven't wrapped them yet. There's still tomorrow! I saw the new Star Wars on Sunday. It was OK. The script is a little weak but it was very well done anyway.

The New Year doesn't begin until The Day of Fire. We need to make it through 4 more Sayos.

Zot language=3SG.POSS give NEG wzt at chan kqpmq after eh
Why not? Zot doesn't have coda consonants.

(Presumably Zot would loan its phonological terminology from Zzyxwqnp; chan and kqpmq aren't *quite* 'consonant' and 'vowel', but anyone using Zzyxwqnp terminology in Zot would know that Zot doesn't have the class of tonpkzt; barbarians are typically incapable of distinguishing tonpkzt from chan. Also, it is maybe perverse to use <x> as both a vowel and a tone marker, but one would like to be able to use the same conventions as Zzyxwqnp, and /ɛ/ doesn't exist in that language. Possibly <o ou> should also instead be <q o>, but <ou> in native vocabulary is mostly from diphthong coalescence.)

How do you say ‘Zzyxwqnp’?

(This is quite a new language, so there are some problems in the translation. In particular, there should be a more accurate way to translate ‘pronounce’, other than gzhoom ‘say’. I’m also not quite sure how to handle the agent ‘you’; it’s really more of an indefinite reference to an arbitrary person, but I’m not sure how to translate that, so I stuck with ‘you’.)

(Also: yay, this is my first language well-developed enough to post a comment here!)
