Zompist Bboard Again

I'm going to be completely honest. This is the only reason I made an account here. I stumbled upon this project through the Language Construction Kit.

But I found something most nefarious in my browsing of the site...



The letters in yellow have a slightly different green than the rest of the picture



This the more present background green...



While this slightly brighter green is the background of the yellow letters. They are (in hex) #007000 and #047404 respectively.
To illustrate, I've put them side by side:



God help us.

*Shudders* This is gonna replace the two-headed blue owl with antlers in my nightmares.

Oh god. You’re right. I’ll never be able to unsee this…

EDIT: Upon further investigation, it looks like the banner ‘image’ is in fact created using two images — one for ‘VIRTUAL VERDURIA’, and one for the Verdurian text. The latter has a slightly different background colour to the former, which causes the problem.

I didn't notice until now, but now that you say it, I see it clearly.

It's actually the computer equivalent of one of those optical illusions where the same shade of grey looks darker next to white than against black.
