An idea i had a while back is to make a relay where all of the languages are not necessarily related because languages do not sort themselves into neat related vs unrelated piles in the real world. The setting could be an island, archipelago or a small continent or possibly part of a large continent. Time depth is whatever is needed. Possibly we may have only one team. If we are setting this on Akana i recommend Central Tuysafa, Inland Ttiruku (probably in the north or center), Southeastern Zeluzhia or the mountains between Xshali and the Daidak Mountains. We could also set this on any other conworld (suggestions open) remember both teams don't have to use the same conworld.

Just a minor gripe, but having initial consonants marked by doubled consonants drives me absolutely nuts. (Yes, I know it's done when romanizing Korean and in the writing of some Italian languages.) Could you perchance write that Tirugu or something like that?

Considering how badly the last relay went, I think complicating it further isn't a great idea.

Perhaps a single language family split into two halves would also be good. It gives us an excuse to work on L1b.
