Game of Thrones: House Lannister

I've been using the DVD extras for Game of Thrones to add new words to the Classical Phaeroian language. Not too bad an idea to show what I've got, right?

Rhautoios-i Lannister

Below it lies Lannisport, one of the great cities of Westeros, a centre for trade, culture, and the great Lannister fleet."

One of the most productive mines lies beneath Casterly Rock itself, making House Lannister the wealthiest of all the noble Houses. This allows House Lannister to finance many endeavours of other noble Houses; even the King himself has sought credit from Casterly Rock from time to time."

According to the legend, Lann, using only his wits, won Casterly Rock from the noble House of Casterly during the Age of Heroes. The Lannisters reigned as Kings of the Rock for thousands of years, and worked to make it the envy of the rest of the Seven Kingdoms."

King Mern himself was burnt alive that day, and House Gardener turned to ash with him. Seeing both the threat and opportunity the Targaeryens represented, Loren wisely surrendered, and aided Aegon in his further conquest of Westeros. The Lannisters were thus appointed Lords Paramount of the Westerlands and Wardens of the West—titles we hold to this day."

It is neither luck nor royal favour that makes our House prosperous. There have been times in our history where some have thought us weak, lazy, or opulent. My father, Tytos Lannister, nearly bankrupted our House with his poor investments, and allowed himself to be mocked openly at court. When our vassal, the Reynes of Castamere, dared to rise up against the Lannisters, they learned how dangerous it can be to taunt a lion. I, Tywin Lannister, led the assault on Castamere to put down this rebellion. I made an example of them, to anyone who doubts our might. They even made a quaint song about the fates of the Reynes of Castamere. Sadly, there are no Reynes left to hear it.

Our Words are: Hear Me Roar. But there are other words that should be remembered when crossing a lion of Casterly Rock: A Lannister Always Pays His Debts."

So! What do you think?

Congratulations for getting so far that you can translate texts this long and with complicated words! Other than that it's hard to comment, not knowing anything about the conlang.

And here we have the first full poem in Phaeroian!
Phaeroian
English
Biremaxa, samar, tal-i psaras ekanos,
Prede, samar, hypreiain gain, kheurd-i nykhthanos!
Kyler egidi, loater kylmeter atas,
Kai hyldes-i hyptaron tintos oiphyldatas?
Neskos, knephe rhykhoira zara, magino-ka
Tais, tailai, tregaloi-to, nez-o iroka.
Apharas, aphallan gan, zinoi kiotanoi
Hyraknephe, rhakronisis-ka phroiastanoi.
Azout-e zouia, stogania throbania, zeknosis
Nax-i nadaxanoi dradanoin, oiormosis.
Thyzo! Thynno-o balioi, tamian-to gaian,
Kai adarakoin tithazyko, akoin, zogaian?
Tabaona thnas, ion tather tisar naseke.
"Roar forth, arrow of longing love,
Fly, arrow, across the fortress, the heart of my beloved!
All things live, not a soul here is motionless,
Do you doubt the hues of this gem of a garden?
Friend, sit beneath the olive tree, and be restored
By these roses, these lilies, these dappled pigments.
Meanwhile, in the grove, the singing birds
Perch in perfect pattern, keeping secrets.
In time, a meeting of the winds, cascading and dancing;
So skillfully they keep safe all echoes under the sky.
Listen! Millennia of words, amidst the leaves—
Can't you hear my earnest words, my efforts?
Take my hand, for it is your essence that I love."

This verse relies on three elements: lines of thirteen syllables (and a verse thirteen lines long - one for each of the twelve Virtues, and the last for God); line-final rhymes (more or less - note also that the rhymes are always two syllables); and line-internal alliteration of the first syllable of the word (except if that word is kai, which is used to mark questions.)
