Did Proto Germanic allow subject dropping? All attested Germanic languages are non pro drop

Apparently some Old Germanic languages actually do show signs of subject dropping!
I've linked below some papers on Old High German and Old Norse by George Walkden, and there's papers on languages like Old English and Gothic if you can find them/get around the paywalls.
