We know Luna is yučyu but what were Phobos and Deimos called?

(Did anything happen to them during the terraforming process?)

But the answer will be boring. For the Almean moons I'd try to think of how they appeared to each civilization... but the Martian moons already have names, and HC speakers just adopted the Portuguese names (Fobos and Deimos). Thus, Fobos and Demos.

A little more interesting might be the Old Hanying names. If I'm getting this Wikipedia article right, the Chinese names are just 火卫一 Huǒxīngyī and 火卫二 Huǒxīngèr— which are just Mars One and Mars Two. That would give OH Hwoxiŋwan and Hwoxiŋtu.

The Modern Hanying words are more fun: Fəgego, Ləyemo.

I don't think terraforming would affect the moons— Phobos is absurdly close to Mars (6000 km), but that's well above a thickened atmosphere. It's considered unstable, but should last us 30 million years or so.

I just learned that Phobos rises in the west, while Deimos rises in the east.
