This type of card game is called a shedding-type card game . The one I'm most familiar with is Speed . At least here in Poland the rule's that the first player to shed all their cards is the winner (that's how I play Uno/Makao and Mao), so the concept of considering the last person a loser instead ...

Hi,
I'm feeling an urgent need to revive this thread.
How do you pronounce continuous? My friend argues the <uou> part is just one syllable bc her mom has been to the US and picked that pronunciation there.
