Re: Random Thread

This is random, and I don't know whether anyone will know the answer, nor if this is the place to ask? Why has r/conlangs on Reddit suddenly gone to private? Answer here . tl;dr: this is apparently the drama that started on the r/ukpolitics subreddit, in which the admins banned one of that subreddi...

I'm pretty sure I'd all that a baking sheet, maybe a cookie sheet if I'm baking cookies. But I hardly ever bake so I'm relying on my memories of what my mother calls it.

Re: What have you accomplished today?

I mentioned a little earlier that I was learning how to use Inkscape, and now I've mostly gotten the hang of it. My city map is going well (though I've been a little distracted by other projects), and I've decided to label every street using my conlang Keševan, which you might have seen me dabble wi...

Re: What have you accomplished today?

I am happy to report that I've met my goal of reaching 2500 words for Keševan by the end of the year. I've also been dabbling in Inkscape and finally familiarizing myself with how vector graphics work with the aim of creating a map of a conworld city, which in turn has helped fuel the creation of ne...

Anybody else doing Lexember? I'm trying to get the lexicon of Keshevan up to 2500 entries. I've been doing a few every day since mid November and I'm getting close.

Re: Dream sharing thread

A recent dream of mine included a brief scene in which I was browsing the ZBB and saw that Masako had replied to the lexicon-building thread. But he hadn't made a new word, no, but rather posted a very long critique of my conlanging from what he could glean in that thread, particularly attacking my ...

I'm pretty sure that means that the landlord would like a notice of whether you've decided to move out or renew the lease at least 60 days before the expiration of the current lease. Just a simple statement either way. Unless I'm missing something?

Perhaps the -tin in Austin as well. Also note the variations: -son/-sin (as in Wisconsin) and -ton/-tin. And what of -ta of Atlanta and Augusta? Surely the vowel marks gender.
