I can't deny this, but they are of little importance, especially compared to German adjectives or noun cases.

And German orthography is simpler than that of Dutch.

Definitely not! Dutch ortography is easier than German's, except for the dreaded between-"n".

Although it looks nice, to use "3" as a character, let alone whatever "°" is supposed to mean, is quite ugly.
