I'm surprised phpBB doesn't have a function for this. With 10 minutes or so I got this list of 34 members who have posted in the last week:

It has been applied since the beginning. This problem has always existed, but it appears inconsistently. It could be a sensor problem like you said or a software bug.

Re: Random Thread
well, it comes down to what your defenition of what "a very small number" is, and I also think that's relatively irrelevant. for example, my 308 posts is quite small compared to your 2,872, but that doesn't make 308 a small number, and I also used to be much more active here than I am now.1rotting bones wrote: ↑Mon May 25, 2026 7:13 pm Some of these members have a very small number of posts.
1 much to my own avail; now that school's out I should be able to be more active.

2’459 posts here for me (this makes 2’460), averaging 0.86 ppd fwiw. Posts per day might be a metric to consider along with tenure.

Re: Random Thread
I was thinking of members who contribute to the ZBB being an active forum. There are a number of variables in this consideration. If members who post at all posted at the same rate as you, I would only expect any topic I post here to get a response if the ZBB had at least 3 times the number of members. On a larger forum, you would be an active member under my definition./ˌnɐ.ˈɾɛn.dɚ.ˌduːd/ wrote: ↑Mon May 25, 2026 8:13 pmwell, it comes down to what your defenition of what "a very small number" is, and I also think that's relatively irrelevant. for example, my 308 posts is quite small compared to your 2,872, but that doesn't make 308 a small number, and I also used to be much more active here than I am now.1rotting bones wrote: ↑Mon May 25, 2026 7:13 pm Some of these members have a very small number of posts.

Waking up late was associated with the aristocracy as well. In fact, Western philosophy traditionally sees work as suffering and low class. This is why I call anyone inspired by mortal craftsmanship a cultural Marxist.

Indeed, I'm still physically around, but with a lot less time and energy for conlanging and conworlding and for making things to share, and I don't like posting a lot without things to show or contribute (or feeling like I'm "spam-posting").

I used to be more active but I'm surprised I didn't post at all this week. But then again I am time blind and time is a weird soup.

Note: When I say the laws of nature are "mathematical", I mean something other than human mathematical language. I only mean they are regular and proportion-preserving. The math that humans ooh and aah over emerges from low level dynamics that doesn't resemble it very much. Here's an example: https://youtu.be/E9VuoJkpgjw
