to bother
I took the "harass, annoy" sense of the word here rather than the auxiliary verb sense.
Baywatch:
lemenē , from Proto-Dreamlandic
liamia niā.
nesse , from Proto-Dreamlandic
niā ćća.
Gold:
tʷăda "to harass unwanted people"
hʷùtə "a team of bullies harassing a small child"
These words combine to give Play
futetuaa , but this is a dead-end word that does not survive in Poswa (and probably not Pabappa either).
Poswa:
I already have
nusa "annoy" and
šaža "to annoy; biting insect; to react aggressively" as well as several words for harassment, though most are listed as being specifically words for sexual harassment. There is also
pappupa "dog; sadistic abuse, harassment". I don't hate dogs, and neither do the Poswobs as a whole, but this isn't the primary word for dog. Indeed, English has something very similar:
https://en.wiktionary.org/wiki/dog#Verb
Lastly there are reflexive verbs for "irritable" to indicate someone being bothered by an inanimate object or phenomenon. I dont really need to add any words here, although I think that /šaža/ should probably be turned into a compound like
nuššaža since it's homophonous with other things.
