Central Nigerian? The orthography is reminiscent of one Nortaneous posted earlier.

Sorry, I was a bit vague. I meant Central Nigerian a.k.a. Platoid, the language family.

Is it a Kainji language? If so, I’m guessing either Jere or a Kambari language.

Re: Name That Language!
Could it be Ca̱hungwa̱rya̱ (a.k.a. Ngwe) then? Based on this the phonology looks about right, and a search for grapheme ⟨a̱⟩ gives Ca̱hungwa̱rya̱ as the only African language which uses ⟨a̱⟩.

Is my guess correct? It’s been five days and I still don’t know if I got it right.bradrn wrote: ↑Wed Jul 08, 2020 1:14 am Could it be Ca̱hungwa̱rya̱ (a.k.a. Ngwe) then? Re: Name That Language!
I got tired of waiting, so I decided to just look up the answer on Google. Turns out I was wrong — it isn’t Ca̱hungwa̱rya̱. I can’t make any more guesses now since I already know the answer; does anyone else want to guess what language it is?

Re: Name That Language!
You're the only one who's been working on this the last week, so why not go ahead and give the answer — and the next mystery test?
Re: Name That Language!
Oh, all right. From a simple Google search, looks like it was Pangu, from this primer.
