Name That Language!
Re: Name That Language!
Is it Imonda? If not, another Papuan language?
Re: Name That Language!
My god, that was quick. How on Earth did you do that‽
(If it needs to be said: yes, it is indeed Imonda.)

Re: Name That Language!
Nothing very smart, just luck.and brute force.
As it happens, I had did a bit of research over the weekend, looking for languages with a largeiah vowel inventory. That, and knowing you a little, made me think it could be Papuan... So I just checked the Language Pile, and Imonda phonology looked like a good fit.
(Come to think of it, I hope none of that is considered cheating...)

Yep. (Hmm, maybe that was too easy...)
Re: Name That Language!
Here's a sample. It's rather short, since I wasn't able to find anything longer without spoiling the name of the language, but I think it's enough to guess the language.

Re: Name That Language!
IE? If so, Balto–Slavic?

Re: Name That Language!
I’d guess Indo–Iranian then, though I’m not quite sure about the subgroup. (Though I’ve been reading a bit about Pashto endoclitics recently, and the romanization seems somewhat similar… could that be it?)

Re: Name That Language!
I'm gonna claim it's Persian [ED: Romani], and blame it on the imp (or peri?) of the perverse.
