TALC 2021 (Teen Academic Linguistics Conference)

TALC (the Teen Academic Linguistics Conference – pronounced "talk") is a multi-day series of virtual presentations and seminars about a variety of linguistics topics meant for teens, organized by teens, from the 27th to the 31st of August! We are hosting graduates of international universities, student presenters, and big names like YouTubers Biblaridion and Fingtam! The registration link is here: https://forms.gle/gAdtL4ueQDwKAWEX6. Presentations and seminars range from basic introductions to linguistics and conlanging, all the way to seminars on individual language families and advanced topics such as sign languages, ergativity and NLP.

The attendees are all teens, but the presenters aren’t necessarily — we have a fair number of university lecturers, as well as some linguistically inclined teens like me. I know nothing about Biblaridion, aside from the fact that everyone is very excited that he is presenting.
