Both [sʌb.səˌkwɛnʔ.li:~sʌb.səˌkwɛnʔ.lɪ] and [sʌb'siː.kwəʔ.liː~sʌb'siː.kwəʔ.lɪ]; which tends to depend on how well it fits into the cadence of the rest of the utterance.

Does anyone in any dialect say [bi˞d] or [biɹd], etc., or is this an entirely spelling pronunciation? I swear I heard it today somewhere online.

"son"

Just noticed Wiktionary claims this word can be pronounced with the LOT vowel, instead of the usual STRUT. Who pronounces it with LOT?

I think I read it with stress on "quent", but otoh, might also have initial stress, which I assume is the proper one.

Trying to get my head wrapped what it says, but basically it has a palatized "d" and overlong "r"s?

Yes, that is an affricated and palatalized /d/ (and an affricated and palatalized /t/, which is much more common here); as for the /r/s, that is just because syllabic /r/ before a vowel is always paired with a non-syllabic /r/ in the onset of the following syllable IMD.

I have something like [dɪˈɹɛktʃəɹɪ] varying with forms where the third vowel is elided. I suspect this comes from the compressed form /dɪˈrɛktri/ being subject to regular affrication in the /tr/ cluster, and then it spreading to the uncompressed form. Something similar could I suppose happen at the beginning of the word too, but it doesn't for me.

I have hypothesized that as being a source of the affrication in /tər/ IMD... except the problem with that hypothesis is that /tr/ is unpalatalized, i.e. the /t/ in /tr/ is [tʃ] but the /t/ in /tər/ is [tɕ]. Also, in some varieties there are words that imply that a compressed form is not at work, e.g. yes[tɕ]erday, sis[tɕ]er, or mis[tɕ]er (at least in how I pronounced it while growing up, as in Mister Rogers).

I don't suppose it's a regular shift of /st/ > [stɕ]?

The regular realization of /st/ IMD is [sʲtʲ], except word-finally when monomorphemic, where then it is a simple unpalatalized [s] when not pronounced carefully. /stər/ is regularly realized as [sʲtʲʁ̩ˤ], but in certain words such as these non-prevocalic /stər/ may be [sʲtɕʁ̩ˤ], [ɕtɕʁ̩ˤ], [ɕːʁ̩ˤ], or even [ɕʁ̩ˤ]. Considering that many words IMD have [tɕʁ̩ˤ] for prevocalic /tər/ or [sʲtɕʁ̩ˤ] or [ɕtɕʁ̩ˤ] for prevocalic /stər/, (e.g. history, factory, refractory, and other -tory words, restaurant, etc.).
