take it easy, in France political discussions are seen as conversations,
we must not put too much at stake,
but take pleasure in the twists and turns and the offbeat arguments that can arise,
I am not particularly right-wing,
but dogmatism off-ground annoys me a little
and I don't hesitate to provoke,
anyone who loses his cool has lost,
and pays for the drinks...

Decent people get angry, both at the bigotry (which is offensive) and at the vague and shifting nature of the far right argument, and then suddenly they're the insulting, crazy and incoherent one. That's probably the goal of the whole maneuver.

I'm not interested in playing that game; in fact I don't even want to be in a place where that game is played, so I guess I'll be taking a bit of a break.
Same.

Stop trying to paint yourself as the reasonable one here. Your views are not reasonable at all, and fundamentally are unacceptable.

Not all "points of view" (such a euphemistic way to put it) should be defended.

To my knowledge, no one on the ZBB is an elected representative. And in French politics, I'm pretty sure the elected RN officeholders already represent their voters' views. You seem to forget that the elected officeholders from other parties have to represent the views of these other parties' voters.

Remember, sorry, but the RN lost. The people of France rejected fascism, which is something you seem to forget.

We who speak of representatives,
who must represent all voters,
and not just their own,
we must also take this into account...

It's not like RN politicians are going to represent non-RN voters. Then again, you seem to think that no one should represent non-RN voters.

The mandate here is for the people who opposed fascism, whether left-wing or centrist, not with the fascists.

It is only "sectarianism" when your favored party does not get its way. Clearly you would not think the same way if the RN had gotten a plurality or majority and then proceeded to inflict its fascism on France as a whole.
