Hmm… I see, thanks. Meanwhile, I tried connecting via my phone (disabling WiFi from my local network) and got the same thing. The webserver is still running and locally accessible, though.

I don’t really know what’s going on here, though it’s clearly related to the ISP. I’ll continue working on it.

Still not working for me I'm afraid.
Strange… it works for me. In more detail, what do you experience?
Yeah same as Raholeun, tries to load for a fair while and then "bradrn.com took too long to respond."
you know this stuff as well as I do
I cannot possibly express by how many orders of magnitude you are wrong in this assumption :D

Wait, wait… somehow I thought I was talking to Travis there. Now how did I manage to make that mistake? It clearly says ‘Darren’ there, after all…

Frankly, if your new ISP is blocking incoming HTTP and HTTPS you may very well need to resort to a colo if you want to host it yourself -- however, if you're just serving static content (e.g. just JavaScript that does not talk to the server) why not just put it up on github.io or neocities.org?

The ports should now be unblocked on the ISP side. Could someone check and confirm that everything’s working now?

Still nada for me

Although the result is different; it just keeps trying to load and eventually says "Your connection was interrupted / Your computer went to sleep. / ERR_NETWORK_IO_SUSPENDED"

And then "This site can’t be reached / bradrn.com took too long to respond."

Still down for me.
I don't get an error message -- it just keeps trying to load until timeout.

Hmm, OK. Can reproduce when I try.

At this point I really don’t know what’s going on…

Turns out I’d forgotten to setup port forwarding correctly at the router. Try again?

It woooooooooorks! (*manic laughter*) (Or at least the connection works. I haven't tried actually doing anything yet.)

Putting a space before a Kleene star will cause Brassica to crash.

Ah, I was mistaken, it was following brackets

Could you give me an example rule that causes the crash?

categories
C = p t k
V = i u ü a
end

u → ü / i (C) * _

Inputting words like "pipu" and "pipktpktpktpktpktpku". I know that I could say "u → ü / i (C *) _", but I came across it when I originally had "u → ü / i (C) (C) _" and then I was like, "oh I can just use a Kleene star" and unthinkingly (the way I prefer to do things) I just stuck a * in there.

The kleene start means zero or more repetitions of a symbol (can't remember the Brassica word right now), so you can skip the brackets and have u → ü / i C* _, which turned piu pipu pipktpktpktpktpktpku to piü pipü pipktpktpktpktpktpkü when I tested it. Not that it fixes the crashing (Brassica should probably return an error here), but you should hopefully be able to run the sound changes

Correct.

With Darren’s original, I suspect it’s going into an infinite loop (I don’t see any actual crash). I’ll try to fix it when I get time.

Yeah, it doesn't give those error messages like the old brassica did, it just freezes up and eventually the page goes blank.

It's not a major worry, it's just I would of lost my sound changes if I hadn't already saved them which is annoying.
