Brassica SCA [v1.0.0]
Re: Brassica SCA [v1.0.0]
We were doing some Internet maintenance earlier today. What happens when you try now?Darren wrote: ↑Sun Nov 03, 2024 1:07 am "This site can’t be reached

ERR_ADDRESS_UNREACHABLE"
EDIT: Looks like the server has, somehow, gotten disconnected from the router entirely. I hate networking…

It shows me the same message as cited by Darren.

Re: Brassica SCA [v1.0.0]
Great!
(It was just a matter of a loose cable which didn’t get plugged back in properly.)

Re: Brassica SCA [v1.0.0]
When trying to access the online Brassica just now, I got a warning from my browser:
Since I am not on my home pc, I'd decided not to press on.Warning: Potential Security Risk Ahead
Firefox detected an issue and did not continue to bradrn.com. The website is either misconfigured or your computer clock is set to the wrong time.
It’s likely the website’s certificate is expired, which prevents Firefox from connecting securely. If you visit this site, attackers could try to steal information like your passwords, emails, or credit card details.
Re: Brassica SCA [v1.0.0]
Ugh… looks like my security certificate has expired. I’ll fix it tomorrow.

Re: Brassica SCA [v1.0.0]
I just discovered my server shut down because we had to turn off the power briefly. (I mean, of course it did.) No-one complained, but it’s back up now anyway.
Also, I renewed the certificate while I was at it, so there should be no more errors.

Re: Brassica SCA [v1.0.0]
Bug report: It seems it doesn't want to parse certain things. The following rules aren't producing the outputs they ought:
Rule:
j / / _ L ʔ (where L is all the vowels; it's not V for reasons)
k / x / _ [i j]
Expected output:
ʃeʔsje [west]
mxjeʁ [fiefdom, tributary area]
Actual output:
ʃjeʔsje [west]
mkjeʁ [fiefdom, tributary area]
There was also something about a string of /x/ + /w/ or /j/ not being changed by the rules but in the course of my work that rule got taken out and I can't remember quite how to reproduce it.]

Re: Brassica SCA [v1.0.0]
I can reproduce Travis’s working example. I don’t know what could be happening to Man in Space, without him sharing his full Brassica sound changes.
