Sounds fun!Civil War Bugle wrote: ↑Sun Jan 05, 2025 4:12 pm One of the items (randomizing elements of a religion) was posted on the patreon page a while ago, and I remember rolling dice to generate answers for it. Once I can figure out where my copy of my answers is, I am hoping to develop it further and post about it on the board.

Re: Religion Construction Kit
If you do, please mention it in this thread (I generally don't see things in Conlangery).Civil War Bugle wrote: ↑Sun Jan 05, 2025 4:12 pm Once I can figure out where my copy of my answers is, I am hoping to develop it further and post about it on the board.

I will be using the thread at the link above as my base of operations for publicizing details of the religion I am developing.

Re: Religion Construction Kit
Normally I don't have to wait this long between the time that one of Zompist's books is published, and when that book is carried by B&N. They still don't have the RCK.

still, I know it will be worth the wait.

Re: Religion Construction Kit
I don't know why B&N misses or delays some books... they don't have the Middle East book either, but they have my syntax book.
You should probably be aware that B&N orders will go through Amazon anyway. I'm trying to get my books on Lulu as an alternative, now that they offer paperbacks, but that will take some time.
Re: Religion Construction Kit
ah, thank you for the reccomendation; I normally place orders in the store to pick them up there -- if Amazon and B&N are, in terms of transport, the same, that would nicely explain why sometimes orders I used to place online with both of them, would be delivered in a box or...or in a piece of cardboard that was folded over itself in places (and with large corners missing from what I could otherwise call a box)
still, I'll give it a try after a year or more of avoiding it. thank you for the much-needed encouragement.
Re: Religion Construction Kit
very weirdly, though. the book came in an Amazon cardboard bag, so that was normal. but the bag was dropped off by a white car with no markings to indicate it was from UPS, USPostal service, or even Amazon itself.keenir wrote: ↑Mon Mar 03, 2025 4:31 pmstill, I'll give it a try after a year or more of avoiding it. thank you for the much-needed encouragement.
