English is not my native language. I learned it by reading books. I'm better at math than languages anyway.
I understand that. I guess i'd figure it would be more laborious to make ornamental writing than casual writing
Here's a ChatGPT summary of the second quote if it's hard to follow:
No thanks, i don't need a data blender built out of depleting aquifers for a translation. I'd rather pirate a preexisting translation or do my best with the raw original. Water is much more important than "intellectual property" of a dead person who wasn't even making art. Cannot reiterate enough how much gen AI is awful
Also, true learning means being able to restate it. Not just regurgitating what was already said like a security feed, let alone copying the text
I think I can with some certainty say that this was not the intended goal of Marxism. I feel like Marx underestimated the insanity of the human race. For example:
1. A lot of people enjoy believing in paranoid conspiracy theories. When these people become Marxists, they see bourgeois conspiracies around every corner.
2. A lot of people enjoy never changing their opinions. Sometimes they are psychologically incapable of taking true statements seriously.
3. Some people would like to be more violent than they allow themselves to be, either from scruples or fear of getting hurt. These people then express their aggression verbally. Seeing others be hurt makes them happy. I have seen liberals do this more often than Marxists, but possibly because Marxists these days are a small and nerdy group.
The thing is, i'm not exclusively talking about Marxists or Marxism. This tendency honestly reminds me a bit of liberalism in some ways, with the delusion of Westphalian equilibriums, a lack of thought for the future, and or how oppressions are originally built. The goal is to keep oppressions but have them benefit the once oppressed because they refuse to imagine any sense of peace and justice cohabiting. The magnificent past is better than what anyone was able to do or what will blatantly come in the future
Addressing your three specific points:
1. 'Enjoy' is a strong word for believing in conspiracy theories, but this one doesn't necessarily connotate the problem i've been wailing about
2. As much as i hate these people, this is a vast oversimplification. There is no internal truth radar built into any human being
3. This does make some sense, but i have virulent hatred for people being dishonest. Additionally, it's assumed to be obvious or for granted the end of oppression will be actual peace, not retributive violence and a constant search for purity. Whenever i see people actually address it, it's as if the goal is to be born from as many oppressed groups as possible or you lose more rights* to be alive
