I’ve been doing some unexpected room cleaning lately. I think it was spurred by the
LED light strip I recently installed where the wall meets the ceiling—I had to move some things around to be able to position myself in such a way that I could have access. Then I took a spare nail and hung up a piece of wall art I’ve had for a while but did nothing with. Then I finally slotted all the loose 33s into my record stand, switched out the crate with the 45s for a smaller rack, sorted the box sets, and found a 2-
CD-1-
DVD thing I had misplaced. I also took the opportunity to tidy up my
Star Trek table, which, in addition to a genuine
PDX carpet swatch that serves as a platform or base, features a life-size bat’leth, a Klingon forehead prosthetic, a
KLI qep’a’ nametag
1,2, a Klingon metal goblet, a plastic thing of that badge Worf wore on his baldric
3, and a reissue 3-dimensional chess set. I found a very tiny screw I’d misplaced to my digital Super 8, and then I cleaned off my headboard shelf for my bedstead, organized the remote controls
4, and got the
SD/micro
SD cards and adapters organized. Now I’m off to bed.
- I was unable to actually attend due to health and money issues, but they were kind enough to send me the merch anyway.
- I also have a challenge coin of some sort from it.
- I occasionally see a metal-ring baldric on Etsy but it’s always been too pricey for me at the time I see them.
- I have several for various light strips and electronics. There’s two of them that I think fell behind or under the bed but I’m not energized enough to tear things apart, look for them, and then replace them.
