I think it seems Austronesian.

(After all, Malagasy exists. And from what I remember the grammar is quite Austronesian.)
Het skain laik en nigerkongoiske spraak oder en ostronesiske spraak tu mi.
It seems like a Niger-Congo language or an Austronesian language to me.

When you say varieties, it's just people who didn't read it carefully. It's not like it's dialect. They often write it without the ⟨h⟩ and then start pronouncing it with /f/ when they realise how to spell it correctly.

If you mean my language, it's not really like Austronesian. Maybe I should start writing glosses again.

Kue ha naʻi li ngekio siyi ʻu kona, toʻi muemue nefue ʻu li ki Banitu ʻu li pa ʻOsonizya.
And if I start writing it like this, then maybe it starts to look less Bantu and more Austronesian.

Why the diphthing in "wail"? In English, Germand and Dutch it's a later development, based on long /i/.

Ik wait het.
I know.

Hiir is main grund, dat ik maak diphthongen fan aldwestgermaniske lange hoge vokalen naach ard fan engelisk, daütisk and nederlandisk, wail twiskengermanisk is en helpspraak and dit is de meerheedautslag in westgermaniske, doch het is de konserwatiweste autslag in naüwestgermanisk nicht.
My reason here is that I am doing diphthongization of PWGmc long high vowels on the model of English, German, and Dutch because Twiskengermanisk is an auxlang and this is the majority outcome in WGmc, even though it is not the most conservative outcome in modern WGmc.

Why? It's mono-phtong and di-phtong, quite transparently.
