I have suspicions, but one of them is that lit search will be painful in several dimensions
is that dialect of that language currently spoken?

From the word-structure, it does look Indo-European; is it an Indo-Iranian language?

I think I might have the correct answer - it's neither Turkic nor IE, it's very obviously not Tungusic, it looks like Persian but it's "unlikely to be still spoken". Is it Moghol? (If it is, then it must be in a transcription I'm unfamiliar with.)
