Fírita

Post by sasasha »

I came across the following entry in the Verdurian dictionary:
fírita - n - a courtship dance
Fírita Fírita, name of a religion emphasizing the Way or the Dance
Is this something to do with Endajué, or something else entirely, I wonder?

Thanks! :)

Wow, I've forgotten that. It was in the 1998 version of the dictionary, and probably earlier.

It does sound a lot like Endajué, perhaps an Eretaldan reconfiguring. It's not going to be a major religion, but perhaps it was one of the medieval cults.

Ah, oh, thanks! Are there lots of medieval cults to read about?

Mostly on the paganism page. Start here; also see the discussion of new gods and Cerei below that.
