Just a small suggestion - your site would benefit from a non-animated, solid, light-color background; the dark (i.e. low-contrast), textured, animated background makes it very hard to read.

I agree. At least it’s easy enough to remove.

Also, I had a go at compiling the list of phonemes into a summary table (which BTW is the preferred format here and in linguistic works):

/m n/
/b d ɡ/
/p t k/
/dz dʒ tʃ/
/ɸ s ʃ ħ/
/β w j/
/l ɾ r/

/ɑ ɛ i̝ ɵ ɯ/

I haven’t tried to understand the section on grammar, but here’s some feedback/questions on the phonology:
  • I like the allophony! It’s something many beginners don’t do well.
  • Is there any difference between graphemes ⟨j⟩ and ⟨zh⟩? If not, why do you need both of them?
  • Similarly, is it possible to distinguish ⟨b⟩ and ⟨v⟩ word-medially?
  • What kind of syllable structure does this language have?

Is there a little bit of Japanese inspiration to the verb morphology? Obviously it's not the same, but I got the feeling that there might be a bit of that in the mix.

Incidentally, there's a cool addressee distinction from Basque that you might be interested in: traditionally many verbs agree with the gender of the addressee, but only if there's an informal/familiar relationship with the speaker. See:

Right-click, press ‘Inspect element’, and remove the background-image from the <body> tag.

Thank you, I didn't know of this feature before! But in this case, the resulting greyish blue background is too dark.

Also remove the background-color attribute in the CSS (or change its value to something else)

The nineties called and it wants its website design back. I don’t want to risk reading that. It feels like it could give me a migraine. I’m on my phone, so I can’t do any of the things suggested above to mitigate the sheer awfulness of the page’s appearance.

+1
a non-human appearance for a non-human race...
more immersive drawings...
more exotic detail...

Also, the font is very grainy, which doesn't make reading easier.

I know I also said I disliked the formatting, but do we really all need to pile on and complain about it this much? The formatting is the least important part of the conlang (and I say this as someone who is very much a perfectionist about formatting).

It's literally preventing me from reading it.

Fair. Let's not embark more on the presentation, but focus more on the content. Alas, I have little to say about that, except that it looks like the work of a beginner. That's fine, of course - we all did rather unsophisticated worlds and languages when we were young.

EDIT: This very post is my post #1000 on this incarnation of the ZBB.

And it does take a little bit of guts to chuck it out there not knowing what people will say.... Personally I'm intrigued by cat-demon combinations. Our dog probably thinks all cats are demonic already mind

1: thanks!
2: i do not remember why i did that.
3: tbh i got the idea from my native language, spanish, where people mistake them all the time.
4: ehhhhhhh, i think it's CCVCC? i believe klins (which i shamelessly stole from latin crinis) is a good example.

yeah, i'm trying to learn japanese, so there's probably some of that, lol (ameju actually comes from the japanese and chinese words for rain, ame and yu, but sound change eroded most ys to js)

also, hika sounds interesting. i've not yet attempted to learn the language of my northern neighbours, but that's a cool feature.
