Im el ota Inggles, "sail". Sajiwa ste aylan, an nof seying (an olde woh) el ota langwic a si.
It comes from English, "sail". Sajiwa is an island, and many expressions (and every-day words) trace back to nautical language.

Yesterday, just before I fell asleep, I thought of this silly riddle in Sajiwan:
A wo ting yu les imploy wen yu in ebl nyam nof gut? Pwaktis! 🥁
"What should you use when you can't chew very well? Practice!"

In Sajiwan, the last syllable of "practice" is equal to the word for tooth (tis).
