How do you say "There is/are" or "There isn't/aren't" in Māori?
Ki a au pēnei: arā te pahi.
I think like this: there's the bus (using either anei, anā or arā depending on proximity).

Ka mutu pēnei: kei korā te pahi rānei, ko te pahi tērā (ki reira) rānei.
Also like this: the bus is there or that's the bus (there).

(Je ne suis pas certain, je ne sais pas s'il y a une traduction directe ou ce que les gens disent en realité; je vais seulement par des grammaires et des dictionnaires)
(I'm not sure, I don't know if it directly translates or what people would actually say, I'm just going off grammar books and dictionaries)

Edit: Négation pour le deuxième et troisième (je ne sais pas comment pour la première):
Negation for the second and third (I don't know how to negate the first one):

Kāore te pahi kei korā - ehara tērā i te pahi
The bus isn't there - that's not the bus.

Pues, algunos dialectos de alemán dicen "ick" en lugar de "ich".
Well, a few dialects of German do say "ick" instead of "ich"...

Haut allemand n'est pas synonym pour l'allemand standard ! Il est un hyperonyme.
High German isn't a synonym for Standard German! It is a hypernym.

Wenn du das glauben willst, glaube es. Aber, wie Wikipedia sagt:

Hochdeutsch steht für:

  • Standarddeutsch, die deutsche Standardsprache
  • Hochdeutsche Dialekte, die Mundarten im mittel- und oberdeutschen Raum

If you want to believe that, believe it. But, as Wikipedia says:

Highgerman stands for:
  • Standard german, the German standard language
  • Highgerman dialects, the speech forms of the middle and South German areas

Yeah! I've never heard anyone say the word "Standarddeutsch" when they want to say "standard German". People generally say "Hochdeutsch"
