Deep in the human unconscious is a pervasive need for a logical universe that makes sense. But the real universe is always one step beyond logic.

Poswa:

tamaetša from tamae "arrange, order, set up" + tša, the classifier for furniture and objects found indoors. I used tamae as part of the word for crutch, so I think the current meaning of the standalone word is due to syntactic shift and that it earlier meant to support or lean on. I used to have a word *pubblelas for diagonal but it looks like I removed it because I couldnt justify the etymology, which would have to be something like "first bottle".

Old Andanese:

owŏna , from o- "furniture" and wŏna "diagonal, tilting, leaning".

I might make a new word in Poswa that uses this same root, but it'd likely have a significantly different meaning due to syntactic drift.
